Training Programs
The Dr Singh's BioIT lab offers two Internship programs and various training programs. Internship programs being conducted as per institute's norms, whereas training programs can be conducted on request.
Internships
6-Month Program (Dissertation): This structured training is designed for final-semester postgraduate students (M.Sc., MPH, M.Tech) in fields like Public Health, Epidemiology, and Biotechnology, requiring a one-time fee of ₹10,000.
Short-Term Program (2–3 Months): Aimed at motivated graduate and postgraduate students for hands-on research exposure, this program focuses on areas like Bioinformatics and Health Social Sciences and typically involves a fee of ₹5,000.
Key Requirements: Both programs require an application endorsed by the student's Head of Institution, a 500-word Statement of Purpose (SOP), and a minimum of 80% attendance for certification
Training
Dr Singh's BioIT lab can offer various training programs on request as per need/request to develop skilled asset in applied medical research. Major areas can be coverd: Statistical Analysis using R/RStudio, Meta-analysis (Network Meta-analysis), Computer Aided Drug-Discovery (Virtual Screening, Molecular Dynamics Simulations, Meta-dynamics, MM/PBSA, Free-energy landscape) and microbiology laboratory techniques in medical research.
Eligibility Criteria: These training programs can be availed by the final-semester postgraduate students or PhD students from any stream of life sciences.
